This folder contains two repaints for the Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IIa for MSFS by Flight Replicas. It shows Spitfire Mk.IIa P8038 RF-W and Spitfire Mk.IIa P8361 RF-R "KRAKATAU" both of No. 303 'Tadeusz Kościuszko City of Warsaw’ Squadron, based at Northolt in May 1941.. P8038 was flown by Sqn Ldr Witold Urbanowicz on 26 April 1941 and Plt Off Boleslaw Drobinski in May 1941. The flight on 26 April was the first flight on wing strength by Polish squadrons (303 and 306 Sqns). Drobinski scored his first victory in P8038 six day later and went on to become the highest scoring Polish pilot on the Mk.II with six kills. P8038 was later transferred to 452 squadron, where it was the regular mount of Paddy Finucane. Spitfire P8361 RF-R "KRAKATAU" was flown by several pilots of the squadron.   Repaint by Jan Kees Blom.
