UPDATE v1.1.1
- Adjusted some assets slightly close to the waterline
UPDATE v1.1
- Added a POI at the scene
- Added a polygon exclusion of trees around the immediate scene
- Updated flight plan
This mission was designed for the Virtual Tactical Air Command - Tactical C/SAR Helicopter Command.
Scenario: A fisherman out on his boat has not come home. Search the Pax river, locate the emergency scenario and transport the victim to the hospital in Washington DC.
This mission is best played with the HPG H145 HEMS but any helicopter will work just fine.
The included flight plan departs Ronald Reagan Washington National airport and proceeds to the accident scene, then to Washington Hospital Center and then back to Ronald Reagan Washington National airport.
Dependencies: In order to fully enjoy this scenery the following libraries need to be installed in your community folder. My expressed thanks to each of the library creators. You are greatly appreciated. Buy them coffees.

Newbie were do i find the mission in the sim menu?

Once the scenery mod has been extracted and dropped in your community folder when you load the sim up and go to the world menu you will be able to locate the point of interest. Zoom in on the Washington/Pax River area and a point of interest will show where the accident scene is. Then it is up to you to plan a flight from an appropriate location and design the mission (ie leave Pax - go to accident and land - then proceed to a hospital somewhere). I hope this helps you find the scenery and enjoy a SAR type mission.

One of the best USA , SAR sceneries out there. I made a video, to highlight your great workmanship & attention to detail. I just flew the standard H-135, to it, keep up the great work, thanks,,,https://youtu.be/Yjfs38ZhNkc

Thanks for your kind words. I like to have the scenery such that you can look at it and imagine the events that led to the situation and then have a logical look to the response. I appreciate your observations and kind words. More to come!

I realize there might be an issue with the flight plan for some users. No worries as this does not effect the scenery at all. My apologies for the inconvenience if you are impacted.
I will do an update with a flight plan that will work for everyone shortly.

Thank you for this! Now, if we can just get a SH-3 Sea King for the sim, I can replicate the time period I was stationed at Patuxent! 73-76. AMEC, ret.
