This file contains a set of script for the GNS530/GNS430 to be used with Lorby's Axis And Ohs (AAO).
Import the files into AAO. To do this, AAO has to be disconnected from the simulator. After the import you will have script groups called GNS430 and GNS530. These script can be assigned to any button/key/voice command you need.
The scripts were tested with the GNS530 addon by pimarc. I have not tested them with the stock GNS430/530 by Asobo.
There is a script for the CDI key. In the addon there is no command for this key. It just uses the standard event K:TOGGLE_GPS_DRIVES_NAV1 to switch the navigation source between VLOC and GPS. If both devices (GNS530 and GNS430) are used inside the plane, the execution of the command will switch the navigation source for both of them. This is a limitation by the simulator.
Thanks for these scripts. Made things much easier for me.
Regarding the CDI issue you've described with the pimarc gns530 mod. I'm using these scripts with AAO and the current 1.0.3 WT version of the 530/430 and had the same problem.
I found this link yesterday https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/garmin-gns430w-and-gns530w-issues-and-support/555536/72
I changed the event sent by the GNS430 CDI-NavSource-Push to:
1·(>H:AS430_CDI_Push,·Number). You could change both scripts and use 1·(>H:AS530_CDI_Push,·Number) for the 530. It appears that independent CDI support was added in SU10.
I'm now able to toggle CDI GPS/VLOC for the 530 and 430 independently via my hardware.
As the H: events replicate a mouse click on screen it should work for the pimarc GNS as well.
