History
The British Supermarine Spitfire was the only Allied fighter aircraft of the Second World War to fight in front line service from the beginnings of the conflict, in September 1939, through to the end in August 1945. Post-war, the Spitfire's service career continued into the 1950s. The basic airframe proved to be extremely adaptable, capable of taking far more powerful engines and far greater loads than its original role as a short-range interceptor had called for. This would lead to 19 marks of Spitfire and 52 sub-variants being produced throughout the Second World War, and beyond. The many changes were made in order to fulfil Royal Air Force requirements and to successfully engage in combat with ever-improving enemy aircraft. With the death of the original designer, Reginald J. Mitchell, in June 1937, all variants of the Spitfire were designed by his replacement, Joseph Smith, and a team of engineers and draftsmen.
The Mk Vb(trop) (or type 352) could be identified by the large Vokes air filter fitted under the nose; the reduced speed of the air to the supercharger had a detrimental effect on the performance of the aircraft, reducing the top speed by 8 mph (13 km/h) and the climb rate by 600 ft/min (3.04 m/s), but the decreased performance was considered acceptable. This variant was also fitted with a larger oil tank and desert survival gear behind the pilot's seat. A new desert camouflage scheme was applied.

Interior:
This was a ground up biuld by us and all gauges were built in Blender and animated for extra realism. We built each of these gauges over the course of the last month spending time to make it look as good as we could. Something interesting here from a Game Engine perspective is that even though these are mesh data for the gauges, because they dont use textures (4k) like some of the other aircraft, they are actually more performant even with the increased vertex count (low poly modelling).

The exterior looks great. The interior needs some work as the panel is incomplete. Like others I found the gear INOP. The gear lever moves back and forward as expected but the gear itself is unchanging.
The flight model is way too benign. Couldn't get it to stall. At zero throttle with flaps up the plane slowed to 60mph, Maybe there was a hint of mushing but it just sat at 60mph, wings level, with a small AOA and a decent rate of about 1000fpm.

your avionics are perfect, the plane is looking good in exterior. Maybe a major update or mini updates to a goal for the cockpit texture it is too smooth. Keep up and please we want a good interior if possible. Thanks a lot for the mod !

Thank you for your nice model and this good work. With version 1.1, unfortunately, after a time between 3 or 4 minutes, the artificial horizon turn slowly right (about 30 degrees) and freeze.
At the same time, U/C and flaps are also freezed in position (up or down).
If a good landing is expected, don't retract U/C and flaps after T/O,

This shows some really good promise. Some things I noticed were: The gear wouldn't retract and it's not at the correct angle. The airspeed indicator wound up to max speed upon starting the takeoff roll, was pretty much useless. Also the prop animation needs some work. Probably the biggest show stopper was the sound. It's sounds like an ultralight. With some work this could be pretty nice. Very nice looking model. I looked on your website and there was only one minuscule screenshot for what looked like a B-25H. Did I miss any others?

Thanks for the feedback. We will give it a go in updating the sounds and the airspeed indicator but glad you liked it so far. Its one of those ones we want to get right in the end

Beautiful to fly, unfortunately the radio stopped working a few minutes after take-off, then the U/C failed to deploy at Innsbruck... I had to leave a Spitfire shaped furrow in the Airfield 😉
