IndiaFoxTecho Lockheed-Martin F-35 A/B/C Lightning II - Better Cameras
I liked the original set of views quite a lot. Especially the approach that the pilot view mainly shows the HUD and top of the display, and that the view stays on the instument panel when pushing the "down" button on the coolie hat. So I left it as it was and only did a few small changes on IndiaFoxTecho's camera views:
- changed 30° forward and 120° aft views to make the pilot lean slightly towards the canopy and look down a bit.
- changed the 90° left and right views to swivel back to cockpit automatically
- slightly changed the PCD (display) and cockpit panel views for better visibility in 16:9
- pushed the left side panel view a little forward
- added a right side panel view for the sidestick and Recovery and Zerorise controls
- pushed the Landing Pilot view a little more foward to improve visibility
Installation:
as always this package is simple drag and drop, so just unpack it into your Community folder
Best wishes

Hi, I am just curious, did IndiaFoxtrotEcho contact you in regards to intengrating this mod directly to their F-35?

I was hoping you would work your magic with this, but form some reason its not working for me, the thing I wanted fixing more than anything is for it to snap back to the instrument view releasing the hat switch after looking left or right but it stays stuck in position. I have your improved cockpit cameras for other aircraft and they all work fine, so it is confusing why it doesn't work on the F-35, for me at least. Is there anything you can suggest?

Hmm. Should work. I'll just redownloaded it and checked it again.
The only cockpit view that doesn't snap back is the "down" view. And that's intentional. Right and Left have to snap back.
Do the other changed views and the new instument view work correctly? Of 'YES' please write again. If 'NO': then my whole mod is not working.
The only reason I can see why it this could be:
You changed the name of the folder of the aircraft or of my mod or both, which would change the order in which the addons are loaded. The normal loading order should be:
indiafoxtecho-aircraft-f35
indiafoxtecho-aircraft-f35-better cameras
Solution: change the names back to the originals or make sure my mod comes later in alphabetical order, or simply put a 'z' in front of the folder name of my mod.
