UPDATE v0.5 is a minor update to correct some character selection issue regarding the airliner pilots...thanks @IcyMittens for pointing it out and even sending me a corrected cfg...sorry it took so long buddy!!!

A huge shoutout to the Flight Sim Community for being a friendly and helpful place...this update includes a few of those members who have been so kind in helping me expand the modding community. Without your help I'd just be flying!

This is a huge texture update allowing you to choose charcaters with a variety of faces!

Please remove any previous "the-newbies" or "tsi-buddies" pilot mods from your Community folder as this update has change the names and configurations of the folder.

This is a standalone mod that is dropped into the community folder that will add 25 additional casual pilots, femal pilots, and airline pilots to the list of default pilot avatars. I have removed the option for choosing stock pilots as scrolling to find the option is a lot with them as options!

******Thumbnails currently do not work with SU7 and a zendesk ticket has been submitted*****

Thumbnails are still in the package and should show once the error is corrected from MS/Asobo...I have included a character sheet png in the main folder that will help you to see the characters you are selecting!!!

Thumbnails are now included for easy pilot selection
Pilots are chosen from the Options\Misc. tab within the sim.

I have not found a conflict with having this mod and one ground texture mod installed. Pilots will show as well as your ground crew texture of choice. These are seperate models.

I know that we don't spend much time looking at the pilot to begin with...but if we have to we may as well enjoy it!

What about the default airliner pilots? I miss them..Or is that a Asobo bug? Also I would miss some less fashioned pilots with ordinary clothes for ordinary pilots/people 😉

Flipping awesome. Just downloaded and did some editing so removed all male pilots as I never use them, not once lol, but am wondering how I can add the casual female pilot back? I see the airline pilot is there and would like option of having the female casual as an option. I assume can just copy the female airline pilot line but edit code slightly, what would I need to put? Cheers!

Nice work. More style and color than their default styles. That being said, how about some more tradition less flashy clothing for other optional avatars. And maybe the female pilot could wear a white or black tank top, lol. And maybe some black sunglasses as an option also instead of the chrome always. Thank you!

This is AWESOME! Love the new catalogue of Characters as well, makes it so much easier to select your avatar and a copilot if you need one! Can’t help but appreciate all the work that went into each Characters detail, especially in the Facial Features... Thanks For Sharing your Time, and Your Talents!

wow what a fantastic mod you have created .......you may have seen there has been a bit of a push to create airline pilot uniform shirts. if these shirts could be easliy incorporated into your mod it would mean folk could pick the uniform for the pilots according to the plane livery ...hope you finalise your work its def a 5 star mod thanks ...

This MOD is very difficult to search for and I only find it by the Co-Pilot MOD Link of yours on here. It's the top missing feature especially in VR. I gather you are now looking to add both in all your Plane MODs instead now. This one needs keeping though for those not covered.
I just can't seem to find the Pilot MOD again I downloaded - "z-copilot..." which added both.

Is it possible to have also the option for the casual pilots but with the different skin tone and hair/eye color? Like brown, blond, red. And maybe do the skin tone a bit paler or darker depending on the hair color.

Do you have any idea why it seems not working with the last ver. of payware AH145 (Hype Performance Group)? I mean, even if in heli' setup I choose the default pilot (Asobo) I can show only the Hype or no pilot at all.

I like the mod but it deleted the default pilots. Is there a way to restore the original pilots? I read somewhere to select default then restart the sim but that did not work. Thanks.

thats the only reason i dont like this mod.. they should atleast add the white shirt pilots. im not a fan of black ops

How can edit your .DDS? (I tried with GIMP, PaintShopPro, DXTBmp but these programs don't recognize the files...

paint.net is a wonderful program for DDS opening and converting!

I like the addon, thanks. However, I would prefer that instead of some pilots with such tacky dresses there were others with uniforms or normal dresses.

Again - now MS default characters have pink headphones (f.e. MSairliner)

Can't choose Airliner pilots anymore...solution?
