I'm currently too busy with other commitments to make an update to this mod at the moment. It's starting to put a toll on me with frequent updates from PMDG causing issues with this mod. I can't keep up with their update rate. So instead, I've created a video tutorial to teach you how to make the pilots and copilots visible inside the cockpit. Hopefully by following the tutorial, you can make it work yourself (and it doesn't just apply to PMDG, it applies to other aircraft as well).
Visible Pilot and Copilot Tutorial
This mod will make both Pilot and CoPilot avatar visible inside the cockpit of the entire PMDG 737 family. This includes all 737-600, 737-700, 737-800 variants. This mod requires any one of the PMDG 737 aircraft to be installed first.
Installation:
- Choose a variant of the file to download.
- Main file will have both Pilot and CoPilot Avatar inside the cockpit.
- Pilot Avatar only will have the Pilot avatar visible, keeping the coPilot seat empty.
- Copilot Avatar only will have the CoPilot avatar visible, keeping the pilot seat empty.
- Download the zip file and extract the pmdg-aircraft-737-pilot folder to your Community folder.
Uninstallation:
Delete the pmdg-aircraft-737-pilot folder from the community folder.
Credits:
Asobo Studios for the original Pilot and Copilot avatar models.
PMDG Simulations LLC for the original cockpit files.
Fluegelmann for the inspiration, permission and guidance.

A huge human thank you to the creator, for a useful addition to the aircraft. After watching his video, how to make the avatars of the pilots appear in the cockpit, everything turned out to be quite simple and most importantly, you do not need to download the mod to the community folder. And what's more important, now you can put pilots on all planes yourself.

Unfortunately with the latest update by pmdg on 12/24, this mod no longer works. It causes the cockpit to display fuzzy and no longer a functional cockpit so has to be deleted out of the community folder.

Thank you for the feedback and for giving half a star for something that is not my fault for doing this for free out of the goodness of my heart. Yes, I've been trying to remove this mod from the site, but for some reason it won't let me after the mod has reached a certain number of downloads. I didn't make the rules.
I would like to take a moment to repeat the same thing I've been saying about this mod. I shared this because I found a way to make the pilots visible by doing a little bit of file editing, so I thought it would be fun to share the joy of my findings with everyone else. But I didn't realise that every time PMDG updates the aircraft, it would overwrite and make this mod unusable unless I did the same file editing again from the latest version.
The problem is, they give out updates like hot pancakes. Now, I don't have the same free time as I used to. I'm not on MSFS modding 24/7 as a job nor do I fly MSFS every day, and not even PMDG 737 at all anymore. So having the need to keep this mod updated every time PMDG makes an update takes too much effort from me and my focus away on other things in my life and other projects that I'm doing. In summary, I can't play catch up with them to keep it updated all the time. It's just too much for me that it becomes unsustainable.
That's why I spared some time to make a video tutorial, so that you can learn how I discovered the method to make the pilots avatar visible and shared it to all of you so you can try to do them yourself. Because I can't sustain this mod anymore, the idea is by watching my video tutorial you can understand and update your cockpit yourself.
So I'm sorry that I can't immediately stop what I'm doing to jump on my computer to make an update to a mod that I don't even use anymore since I stopped flying the PMDG 737, 6 months ago. If I can make a better suggestion, please contact PMDG directly and request the pilots and copilots avatars to be an official feature instead, so they can release updates as often as they want and not break the pilots avatar model.

Just tried it with the latest 3.049 version and it works fine . Although the lady beside me sits a bit too much forward, but I think this is something I can adjust after viewing your YT tutorial.
No more loneliness in the cockpit. Thanks a lot !!

I just used whatever the default position from the exterior view. But that's what the tutorial is for, you can adjust one of the value to move the copilot around. And sometimes it's also depending on the type of copilot you use. I think if you're like me and use a female copilot model, the position is already perfect because she has a hair bun at the back of her head. If she's moved a little backward into the seat, the hair bun will clip through the seat. So feel free to adjust anyway you want for the copilot model you use.
