FS2020 Release - Beta Switcher
As Asobo seems not to be able to provide a secure way for Steam users to leave any Beta easily I decided to write a little app.
It is now possible for Steam users who want to participate on the Betas to switch branches within seconds.
As addition to any other distribution method, you only need to download the delta in data once.
BUT:
First you need to do some hoemwork!
You need enough space on one SSD for two FS-2020 installations!
You need to read the ReadMe.pdf to get the app do it's magic!

I already had the Beta installed when I installed and ran the beta switcher. ...I believe I now have two copies of the beta lol!
I'm reinstalling MSFS. Will re-try once that's done.

Yes, in this case you had 2 copies of the Beta.
Btw, have you read the ReadMe.pdf?

Any chance you might create a version for those of us who purchased through the Microsoft store? Or modify your app so it can do both?

If it's as easy to get to the installation location for MS-Store apps as it is for Steam, then I'll get a Game Pass. Then there's also something like that for the MS Store users 👍
But until then, my preferred way to buy games is everything, but not MS-Store.
PS: I know that Microsoft is working on this very thing 🤓
