Well, someone had to do it. Port the Mitsubishi Pajero into MSFS, I mean. So she is here now. Not super, but still fun to motor around in. Hopefully more updates to the model will be coming.
In the mean time, since I had made Sky Lounge liveries for it in P3D to marshall around K5KY air park I figured I would have to create the liveries here in MSFS. There really was no getting around it. Version 2.0 contains the two SkyLounge liveries for the Pajero.
For these liveries to work, you must have, or download the Mitsubishi Pajero original file. It can be found here: https://flightsim.to/file/12374/drivable-car-mitsubishi-pajero
Download the .rar file and extract the main files into your community folder. If it is done correctly you will find the base files "Mitsubishi PAJERO - SkyLounge 01" and Mitsubishi PAJERO - SkyLounge 02" in your community folder. If you open either of the folders you should find two more folders along with the layout.json and the manifest.json. If you have any trouble, there are a myriad of videos and instructions on how to install liveries into your community folder.
FYI: None of the clickspots inside the cab function at this time.
Of important note: Once you fire up MSFS for the first time after you've installed the plane and the SkyLounge liveries a new file will magically appear in your community folder. It is called "Mitsubishi PAJERO_CVT_". And, once you access one of the files another "CVT" file will be created. These file will need to be kept in your community folder for the Pajero and its susequent liveries to function. They are files that MSFS creates and installs and will not harm your sim. So when you see them appear, it's Ok.
Further to the CVT files . . . If you are going to be installing more liveries for the Pajero, I strongly recommend that you delete any CVT files related to the Pajero. Once you fire up MSFS, after adding liveries, the files will be remade. As you add more liveries, be sure to delete the existing CVT related files prior to loading into MSFS. Again, MSFS will remake these files once loaded in.
Driving your new Mitsubishi. You will find challenges. Bridges are one. You will not be able to drive under bridges. In MSFS bridges are solid objects, like buildings. No driving through those either. You will find it difficult to drive over bridges. You will need to be moving as fast as possible and line up perfectly to cross a bridge. Even then, you may not make it. Never fear, you can use the slew function to get you over or under a bridge. You can't drive in water (correction, you can drive in water!) and it doesn't fly . . . very well. It is quite fun to drive. I highly recommend taking to the Las Vegas strip at night. Never know, you might catch a glimps of a star entering one of the casino's.
Version 2.0 - Added second TSL livery featuring Miss Trixie. First livery is all about Miss Kitty. If you want to know more about them, check with OMGEDSON on the The Sky Lounge Discord channel. Updated April 28, 2021.
Version 1.1 is here - Updated the textures for both the Pajero and the driver. Corrected glass issue. You can now drive from inside the cab. Updated April 28, 2021
New issue - lights are not turning on with the L key. Have not found the cause of this yet. May have been only during my test. Let me know in the comments if lights are working for you.
The original Pajero is no longer available. There is a replacement to be found at https://flightsim.to/file/31537/driveable-mitsubishi-pajero-io-2022

When I get the time I will download the updated version and have my textures set to work with it. I'll post an update when that happens. Thanks again!
